Surfside Bungalows

FACILITIES

SURFSIDE BUNGALOWS is a private three-acre compound with three regularly available upscale bungalows and a fourth apartment occasionally available.  The owner's home is also located on the three acre lot.  SURFSIDE is secure with a lot of space and privacy and amenities, all steps from the breaks.  A few highlights of the facility grounds are listed below.

Pool.  The common pool area is available to all Surfside guests.  The 5000 gallon skirted above-ground pool is surrounded by a deck that includes a roofed portion with a picnic table. 

Wi-Fi.  The entire facility is served by broadband Internet distributed over a wireless network on the facility grounds.  Welcome to the jungle, baby.

Parking.  Each of the bungalows has its own private parking area.  Casa Amarilla has space for more than one vehicle.

Security.  Surfside Bungalows is a private compound where the owner and long time Matapalo resident lives.  The facility is secure with 24-hour occupancy by the owner or staff.

Catering.  Catering and housekeeping services are available upon advance notice for a rate of $50 per day, you provide the food. 

Hot Water.  Surfside Bungalows has on-demand propane hot water heaters for each of its bungalows.  Take a long hot shower at Surfside . . . !

Kitchen.  All our kitchens feature stove-oven ranges, solar full-sized chest refrigerators, and a wide array of high-quality cookware and dining utensils.  We have good quality cutlery, utensils, cutting boards, colanders, the miscellany of kitchenware that makes cooking in the jungle a snap--or less daunting anyway.

Electricity:  Surfside Bungalows depends upon solar panels to provide power with fossil fuel generator to compensate when solar power does not satisfy demands.

Travel Guest Services.  We look forward to guiding you toward activities, guided or self-guiding, and can assist with information, both in advance and when you're here.  We're here to help you enjoy your time as much as possible and will afford you the privacy or engagement that you desire.

Support.  We take pride in coordinating travel arrangements, including rental cars, charter flights, commercial flights, private ground transfers, and have full information on bus and maritime taxi services.
